It seems like people just can't get enough of mythology lately. The Harry Potter books and movies, while not strickly mythology, had a lot of myth allusions, the Percy Jackson books and movie are pretty hot right now, Clash of the Titans had a remake (that I have not seen yet and don't know if I'll get to in the near future - anyone out there see it?), and according to http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2010/04/05/clash-of-the-titans-is-just-the-first-of-many-mythological-movies-on-the-horizon/ there are a host of movies on the horizon, including The Odyssey, another remake, this time of Jason and the Argonauts, War of the Gods (which sounds a lot like Clash of the Titans and Percy Jackson), and The Arabian Nights, one of my favorite collections of stories.
I started thinking about which myths I'd like to see made into a movie. I'm thinking that a cheaply made slugfest about Ragnorak would be great. In order to really work, it would need to be a B movie and have a bare minimal plot, much like Pathfinder.
So I ask you this - what myths do you think should be made into a move form?
