Well, Ailia got me onto Good Reads and I've slowly been messing around on there. Tonight as I browsed through the quotes I ran across this one and found it funny enough to share:
"In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this."
Anyone recognize the goddess in the picture? She is usually seen with a cat head, but the body of a woman.

Bast is the Egyptian goddess usually shown with a cat's head. She can be honored by burning a green candle (her sacred color) and "being nice to cats".
I can picture a cat penciling in the hieroglyphics on the wall for that last instruction!
